Something to keep in mind, when discussing the future of mankind. Many questions arise, like who is in charge and who programs and focuses these living robots? How can they be met with human logic and empathy? What influence are they allowed to have on us as a society? And as a species?! When we discuss cultural behavior and equal chances for all, how do we deal with something that has no culture, nor competes on our pyramid of needs?! Thoughts, anyone?

Innovative Microbiologist & Immunologist | Researcher in Proteomics and Molecular Genetics | Passionate Educator & Aspiring Scientific Leader
This innovation holds immense potential for fields like medicine, environmental cleanup, and regenerative therapies. Imagine programmable cells that can repair damaged tissues, target and eliminate cancer cells, or even clean up pollutants in the environment, all while having the ability to reproduce and sustain their populations. However, the creation of self-replicating robotic cells also raises important ethical and safety concerns. The ability to reproduce means these cells could potentially evolve, leading to unpredictable consequences if not carefully controlled. It prompts us to consider the moral implications of creating new life forms and the responsibility that comes with wielding such power.
