I am happy to share that I have attended ESMO Guidelines: Real World Cases Webinar, Early Breast Cancer. - The main objective of the webinar was to promote evidence-based quality cancer care by disseminating the ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines in the oncology community. - The webinar presented a clinical case of a 45-year-old woman with early breast cancer and discussed the ESMO Clinical Practice Guideline recommendations for diagnosis, staging, treatment, and follow-up. - The webinar also featured a live Q&A and discussion session with multidisciplinary experts, who provided alternative perspectives on the subject and addressed the challenges and opportunities of implementing the ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines in everyday clinical practice. - The webinar was part of a series of ESMO Guidelines: Real World Cases webinars, which cover various topics in oncology. #esmo #breastcancer

Despite >500 types of rare cancers, fewer than 40,000 people are affected annually. With fewer patients, rare cancers can be hard to study, treat, and cure. Through its ongoing clinical trial programs, Kura Oncology is exploring new therapies designed to address rare cancer challenges. ❓ This question I am about to ask will not solicit a Yes or No response, your answer will most likely be a specific number or the name of the person; my mom, my daughter, my son, my dad, etc. ❔ The question isn't do you know someone impacted by cancer the reality is how MANY people do you know have died of cancer? Are battling cancer? Are thriving with cancer? 🌟 It is estimated that nearly 2 million people will get a cancer diagnosis in 2024 and the reality is we have only about 27 thousand oncologists in the United States to help them. Next month I will have my 🎥 , 🎤 & questions ready for the GOATS 🐐 and their mentees at the PrecisCa Fellow Forum. I am going to ask how do we build a sustainable oncology workforce and what advice can the KOL's give to the newbies about burnout rate within the profession. What do you want to know? 🤔 Let me know and I'll ask! Sherry Crowe thank you for creating a place where the newbies are supported, encouraged and guided.
