What quality(ies) do you believe help to make a leader more effective in today's world? 🤔 I believe that Emotional Intelligence and Human Centered Leadership make an important difference. They help leaders to be more effective by helping them foster stronger connections, which can help to generate trust, which, in turn, can lead to a more positive and engaging organizational culture. Developing these critical human skills can elevate the impact leaders have in their teams and organizations. I work with leaders and organizations to design training programs and solutions to help leaders increase their leadership effectiveness so they are better equipped with the necessary skills and tools to be able to foster work environments where people feel included, listened to, respected and valued. I train leaders to be more human and to create work cultures where people feel they belong and where they want to stay. Make sure you and other leaders in your organization elevate your leadership impact by leveraging these skills, which keep growing in importance. I am happy to talk with you about training ideas and options for your team or organization. 4moLove this question, Luis Moreno. Today I'd answer it this way - that being open to vulnerability is what I see missing from SO many thousands of leaders right now. They're so "well defended" and defensive - meaning they just won't (or emotionally can't) allow themselves to really let in and feel their own pain, hurt, confusion, doubt, fear, lack of knowledge, insecurity, etc.) - and that inability to be vulnerable cuts them off from so many other emotions that leaders need to be successful and effective. Their resistance to vulnerability makes for a VERY limited (and eventually unsuccessful and even damaging) approach to leadership. Your thoughts? Thanks for posing this question.
