Lighting joke! #44 It doesn’t matter how good your design is, if the end user doesn’t know basic logic, the results can be distortions, or hilarious! In this case, the end user (a high end watch brand) has positioned the display rotated the wrong way. The result is, the display lights are placed behind the watches and all the merchandise are in silhouette (left dark) 😂 The whole showcase must be rotated 180 degrees and the light should be coming from the perspectives of the customers not blinding them instead! Understanding viewing angles is key to the success of any design. Sometimes all it needs it basic common sense.
