Interesting article from Medscape on exciting new research developments in the diagnostic testing approach for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). A new blood-test, used in addition to clinical evaluation may help speed up time to confirmed diagnosis. "Blood-based diagnostic biomarkers for ALS are essential for reducing diagnostic delays and improving disease outcomes."
