Published in November 2023 via MDPI, the continual struggle against the ravages of sepsis has a new paper with a possible biomarker. One of the in-depth aspects of the experiment were investigating the effects of LPS on filamentous actin arrangement and apoptotic cell death. This technology demonstrates the power of FISH (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization) for detailed aneuploidy detection. The specificity of this probe is critical for projects that require clear delineation of centromeric regions, where it can be used alongside probes labeled with different fluorophores, either as a control probe or for aneuploidy detection. FISH testing can be used for aneuploidy detection in both mouse and human models.
