⭐ Candidate Profile Highlight ⭐ ✅ Civil Construction Project Manager ✅ 𝙄'𝙢 𝙥𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙜𝙖𝙪𝙜𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙄'𝙢 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 This candidate has been an integral part of a tier 3 head contractor, delivering complex civil infrastructure projects across Victoria This person has an attitude geared towards constant upskilling and progression, and they're exploring what their next step in the industry looks like 👀 They've been with their current employer for 10 years ✅ They've delivered civil construction projects as the sole PM, valued between $1m - $20m ✅ All of their past projects have been delivered on time and on budget ✅ We can provide positive colleague testimonials AND positive client references ✅ 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙬𝙤 𝙙𝙞𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨: 1) A step laterally into another Project Management position within a tier 3 business, but with more potential to grow in the role than is currently available. This might take the form of larger or more complex projects, or growth into a new role with extra responsibilities. They'd ideally like to have some experienced heads in the business that they join, to bounce ideas off of. They're currently limited with regards to other internal experienced support. 2) A step up in company size but into an SPE position. This person is aware that they currently have things to learn when it comes to the processes, systems and structures of t2 or t1 business. In their current role, they wear all of the hats. In my opinion this is arguably a more difficult and skillful role to succeed in, however they don't want to progress even deeper into their career without the understanding of the operations within a larger business structure. Construction news ran a story that suggests that a third of construction managers, wouldn't hire someone with an unspent conviction 🤦♀️ This has reallllllly surprised me actually - come on guys, we are currently experiencing a skills shortage and having an unspent conviction, doesn't mean you're not able to work. My big question to the third of people that wouldn't hire someone with a conviction; do you do an enhanced DBS on every single person in your employment? If not - how do you know that you don't already employ someone with an unspent or spent conviction? If you're happy to employ someone with a spent conviction, but not an unspent conviction - why is that? At one point, all convictions are unspent... Great to see the work of Making Ground being highlighted in the article (I will post it in the comments).
