🌟 Comparing Rendering Techniques: Deferred vs. Pathtracer in Steam Leak Simulations 🌟 In this latest video of my Niagara Fluid Simulation series, I’m diving into the differences between deferred and pathtracer rendering using the same steam leak scenario. What I found particularly interesting is how the pathtracer, while slower, provides more accurate lighting. It’s especially notable in how it handles cast shadows on the ground from the steam leaks. This added precision really enhances the realism of the simulation. On the other hand, deferred rendering offers quicker results but with less nuanced light interaction. Comparing these techniques highlighted how each approach impacts the visual quality and performance of simulations. I’m eager to share more insights as I continue exploring the capabilities of the Niagara system.
