👷♀️Women in Construction Week👷♀️celebrates the contributions and achievements of women in the construction industry, highlighting their vital roles in shaping infrastructure and communities.
𝗛𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬: The history of Women in Construction Week is intertwined with the origins of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). Founded in 1953 as Women in Construction of Fort Worth, by 16 women in the industry, it aimed to support women in construction. Evolving into NAWIC, the association now boasts 115 chapters nationwide, offering education, support, and networking opportunities for women in construction. Women in Construction Week, established in 1960, celebrates the contributions of women in the field and promotes awareness and inclusivity. NAWIC's efforts have helped reduce stigma, narrow the gender pay gap, and foster international connections with countries sharing similar goals of empowering women in construction.

First official media coverage for Carlee Danielle Wellness with The Herald Bulletin!
The article mentions at the G.R.O.W. Conference I discussed how weight loss is often the sole focus of health efforts.
This is reflected in trends like:
- keto
- intermittent fasting
- whole 30
- low carb
- calorie counting
Behind each of these trends to get "healthy" is a root desire to lose weight..
What if we shifted our goals to align with TRUE health markers?
- stable moods
- sleeping through the night
- no energy crashes
- daily bowel movements
- ability to build muscle
- feeling satiated after meals
From this place of true health, you can more easily target weight stability as a goal.
And more importantly, body confidence.
It's not wrong to want a healthy, stable weight and body confidence...
but most of us have our priorities out of whack.
❓ Don't you deserve more than the latest trend that leaves you with empty promises of weight loss?

This week at 4 Times Square, NYC…
I had an incredible time reuniting and engaging again with the first cohort of "50 Women to Watch for Boards". Being part of this inaugural 5050 WOB initiative has been a truly enriching experience and a privilege to get to know such talented, board-ready women.
Excited to see what’s ahead for the next cohort as we continue our collective effort to promote diversity in the boardroom...

Entrepreneurship Isn't a Solo Journey
Running your business can feel lonely, but remember, you're not alone.
Today, I had a heart-to-heart chat with a friend in the IT industry. We discussed the challenges of starting a company and pushing forward each day. It is not easy, and it's not for the weak.
What makes it difficult is it does get lonely when you don't have someone to explain what you're going through or someone who understands you the challenges your going through.
What I've learned is connecting with your peers is critical.
I've learned so much from conversations with friends, vendors, and people like Melanie Rae. It's these connections that keep us going.
Just a reminder to all entrepreneurs out there: don't be afraid to reach out and talk to others in your field. It really helps.

We're proud of the women who lead the way across our organization. As of December 31, 2022, 70% of our U.S. team is made up of women. Two out of eleven FNF board members are trailblazing women, and 41% of our Executive Team members are female powerhouses. Even among our Non-Executive Managers, 68% are women. We're not just embracing progress – we're driving it forward!
