Barron's Advisor pulled off another excellent Australian Summit in Melbourne. One of the few opportunities to hear practice management and client experience ideas from US based wealth firms. What is truely refreshing were the candid reflections on when they got things wrong and how they pivoted to develop highly successful businesses. @deborahmontaperto @jackotter #wealthadvice #globalinsights #fromfailuretosuccess

What was made abundantly clear by the Principals of schools who receive weekly deliveries of food from Fuel For Schools was that it was soooooo much more than putting food in hungry mouths! The opportunity to sit and communicate in a safe space made a lasting impact to these young people and the ripple effect of attendance at school has for our most disadvantaged. Amazing work!
In Australia, one in five children comes to school without eating breakfast. To put that into perspective, in schools with 750 children, that’s 120 kids not able to concentrate, engage or learn effectively because they are hungry. Paula Pool and Demelza Gardem are two incredible mums in Townsville who are determined to do something about this, and established Fuel For Schools, a charity that partners with schools across their region to provide breakfast for thousands of children. Paula and Demelza spoke at the Fabulous Ladies Lunch in Townsville today. A wonderful group of women, coming together to help some of the most vulnerable in our community. Our MC Eleni Millios-Hullick summed it up beautifully. No one should be left behind. If the elevator has sent you up remember to always send it back down ❤️
