#snsdesignthinkers #snsinstitutions #snsct #snsmct DRONE TECHNOLOGY *An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone, is an aircraft without any human pilot, crew, or passengers on board. UAVs were originally developed through the twentieth century for military missions too "dull, dirty or dangerous for humans, and by the twenty-first, they had become essential assets to most militaries. *As control technologies improved and costs fell, their use expanded to many non-military applications. *These include aerial photography, area coverage, precision agriculture, forest firemonitoring, rivermonitoring, environmentalmonitoring, policing and surveillance best infrastructure inspections, smuggling, product deliveries, entertainment, and drone racing.

Real operational environment experience as a key factor for UAV development
UAVs are useless if they can’t be deployed to where they’re needed. Road transportability is critically important for any civilian unmanned aircraft. If you have to reassemble your aircraft every time you want to fly or if you aircraft can’t be deployed by a couple of people without specialized shop equipment — then your UAV probably isn’t going to work in real operational environments. The R550 is the highest payload aircraft you can move easily on US roads without disassembly. It means that no other UAV is going to be able to beat it in performance and ease-of-operation. #bigdrones #airtruck #sprayhawk #rotorai #r550

I developing the Integrated flight controller like GPS, optical flow and compass for UAV. In this system allow an unmanned aerial vehicle, such as a drone to perform entire missions autonomously without the need for manual remote control. These missions may include mapping, surveillance and many other applications....

Due to the increasing popularity of unmanned aircraft systems (#UAS), the detection and #defense of non-cooperative #drones is becoming a major challenge. From protecting civil aviation to critical infrastructure and public events, effective strategies are essential to ensure safety in modern #airspace. To support politicians in their work on a national strategy to detect and defend uncooperative UAS and to clarify industry positions and demands, a joint working group of UAV DACH and the German Aerospace Industries Association (#BDLI) has been established. The participation of UAV DACH is coordinated by Olaf Grimme - Head of the Application Group Drone Detection & Countermeasures We look forward to a fruitful collaboration with the BDLI and the development of a forward-looking strategy paper by fall 2024. Deliver - Support - Integrate Quantum Systems is highlighted as a case study in the latest report from BRAVE1 and KSE Institute, Ukraine’s Drone Industry: Investments and Product Innovations. This recognition acknowledges our key role in advancing unmanned aerial technology in Ukraine. Our "Vector" UAVs, deployed since 2022, proved highly effective, driving demand for more support. By 2023, we localized operations with a Service, Support, Training & Logistics Center (SSTLC) and production units, allowing us to provide real-time support and rapidly improve our systems based on direct feedback from Ukrainian forces. The Brave 1 report underscores how Quantum Systems has leveraged frontline feedback to stay at the cutting edge of UAV technology and maintain our competitive edge in the rapidly evolving sector. This case study is a testament to our commitment to supporting Ukraine’s defense efforts and driving the future of drone technology in some of the most challenging environments. "If you´re not in Ukraine, you don´t exist" For the full report send me a pm.

🌊⚓ #REPMUS24 : demonstrating Control & Command with multiple UAVs! Take a journey back to the #REPMUS exercises with the deployment of Thales's 'Universal UAS Management System' (U²MS) solution. 🔎 This universal management system capitalizes on over 20 years of experience in control/command of mini-UAV systems. U²MS can interface multiple drones of the Drone Warfare ecosystem such as Thales Spy’Ranger or TEKEVER AR3 ones but also many others, Fixed Wings as per Rotary Wings UAVs. This ability facilitates operators’ training and combat integration of complementary UAVs. At REPMUS exercise, Thales thereby demonstrates that its U²MS solution, which inherits the famous Spy’C system, is an universal, multi-environment control/command system for multiple drone operations; an evolving solution, interoperable with C4I, FMS and tier-system, with a scope expected to expand in the future.
