Lynetta Cheatham’s Post

While there are indications that some companies may be stepping back from their commitments to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), I am proud to work for a company that continues to support and embrace equity and inclusion by fostering an environment where DEIB principles are not just upheld but are a part of our culture. Embracing both our similarities and differences is not just the right thing to do; it's a strategic imperative that drives growth, innovation, and excellence. Our recent audiocast is a testament to our ongoing efforts to listen, learn, and engage in meaningful conversations that challenge us to think differently and act compassionately. We recognize that the journey towards a truly inclusive culture is ongoing, and we are committed to being active participants in this journey. By valuing and leveraging the diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences of our team, we can create an environment where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered to contribute their best. #Diversity #Inclusion #Community

As #BlackHistoryMonth concluded last week, we’d like to share some words of wisdom from a recent Q&A session with one of our senior executive directors, Carol Washington, and Jayson Miller, one of our senior talent acquisition advisors. At Acentra Health, we don't just celebrate diversity for one month - it's an ongoing commitment. We strive to be inclusive and embrace our differences in everything we do. This approach not only enhances our recruitment and mentorship initiatives, but also strengthens our community and social outreach efforts with underserved communities. As shared by Carol – may we strengthen our shoulders so that others may be able to see farther as well. #Diversity #Inclusion #Community
