Understanding your medical care empowers you to make informed decisions. 👩⚕️Adhere to prescribed treatments, including medications, physical therapy exercises, and lifestyle modifications. Consistency is key! 👩⚕️If you experience new symptoms or your condition worsens, notify your healthcare provider promptly. Changes in your health may require adjustments to your treatment plan. 👩⚕️Follow any activity restrictions or precautions provided by your healthcare provider to prevent further injury during your recovery process. 👩⚕️In addition to medical treatments, make sure to prioritize self-care activities such as rest, hydration and stress management. Although I am not a medical professional, I realized after surviving a horrific motor vehicle crash that following medical advice is essential for identifying and addressing injuries, preventing complications, fulfilling legal and insurance requirements and receiving appropriate treatment during the recovery process.
