You'll see plenty of posts about product releases or new services on LinkedIn but I thought it's more important to define WHY someone might want to choose you. We have plenty of great products at affordable prices and we can get them to you quickly but so do our competitors so how can we stand out from the crowd. I think it all comes down to values.... my Saturday job aged 16 was in a builders merchant (back in the days before B&Q) and the values they held then formed my whole future career. 1. Treat every customer with respect and like they were your only customer. 2. Build a relationship and get to know them .... who knows where that will lead for both of you. 3. If you'd be embarrassed telling your mum what you're doing then it's probably wrong so don't do it. 4. Would you like to be treated this way? - if not then don't be that person. 5. Stay positive and say it with a smile - even when things are going wrong. I think that's a pretty good starting point but have I missed anything? Comment below please.

Retroactive justice involves revisiting cases and decisions made under previous legal frameworks, which can be legally intricate and time-consuming. Additionally, aligning this process with reentry programs requires navigating a complex interplay of legal, social, and systemic considerations. However, it’s crucial to emphasize that with collaborative efforts and the commitment of individuals who have a shared vision, these challenges can be overcome. Working together to bring about positive change not only acknowledges past injustices but also lays the foundation for a more inclusive and effective reentry system. It requires a collective dedication to bridging gaps, fostering understanding, and creating a system that ensures justice and support for individuals seeking to reintegrate into society.

This is what I’m hoping to get at in my dissertation. What do you have in mind with the term Reentry here? I think how that term is defined and the context of reentry services matter to which restorative approaches are feasible. Also, I think an important point is that restorative justice is (ought to be) an alternative paradigm altogether. To the extent reentry is a consequence of contemporary punitive justice, restorative reentry might always be inherently inconsistent with restorative tenets.

Always remember that If there's a problem then there's a solution.
