🌟 Partner Highlight 🌟 Introducing #ReUse consortium member - ElevenEs, 💡ElevenEs, a company founded in Serbia, as a pioneer in LFP (Lithium Ferrum Phosphate) cathode battery technology in Europe is aiming to become a competitive European provider of different energy storage solutions side by side with the first tide of battery manufacturers in Europe. ✔ElevenEs started as a spinoff of the “Al Pack Group” in 2020, and in March 2022, registered as an individual company in the Serbian market. As an R&D based company, ElevenEs localized the knowledge and technology of LFP cells from Lab scale and developed it to the large LFP blade cells in 2023 on pilot line. Currently, ElevenEs produces prismatic blade battery cells prototypes (A samples) for EVs and Energy Storage Systems. LFP battery cells were found to be more sustainable and safer, and ElevenEs can be proud to be the first European producer of LFP prismatic battery cells aiming to contribute to the EU Green Deal mission. 🤝In the #ReUse project, ElevenEs defines the ReUse waste streams and general safety. In cooperation with other participants of Work Package 1, ElevenEs assists with market screening. ☑ElevenEs plays a key role in providing waste battery materials for other partners. Simultaneously, ElevenEs will establish shredding facilities to produce primary black mass from its own cells. One of the interesting aspects of ElevenEs' participation is regenerating LFP from recycled materials through electrochemical methods. At Speira we are well aware that the race to #decarbonization of #batteries is already ongoing. Needless to say, that the supply chain has to contribute to enable greener batteries. This includes #aluminium products being used in a variety of battery applications ranging from electrode foil to pack level. We are also used to discussing the carbon footprint of aluminium, which can vary a lot depending on the applied energy mix in primary production and recycled content. Nevertheless, the question remains: Does the aluminium carbon footprint really matter in relation to the overall emissions of battery production?
