Now with the Ultra 2... I couldn't resist trying to see if I would still prefer the Day One App for logging my ops. Between Bear, Noted & Day One: the last still fits my needs for quick logs between devices. When using Apple watches, even down to the SE's, Day One's experience is my favorite. The automatic time & location logs plus the fast access to choose between text & audio logs - it covers my concerns while taking the least effort and attention. #AppleWatchUltra2 #mobileapp #timemanagement #operations

📱What was your favourite (old school) phone? The Nokia 8810, the Ericsson T28 or the Motorolla StarTrac (or Razor). It would be hard to pick a favourite, however, the Ericsson T28 was such a small and portable handset, plus a battery life that would put any modern day #mobile to shame. . ➡️Who also remembers the days where you could change phones in a matter of seconds by swapping the SIM cards and you'd have signal and could just dial. Not like today, you need an account on the OS provider (Android, Apple etc.) and then set-up your services before you can start using the phone. . ☁️No doubt it is easier to migrate from phone to phone today as most profiles with applications to help you and backups being kept "in the cloud", but in the old days, all you needed were your contacts and their numbers as there was no "apps" or photos etc. . 😲Would you leave home without your phone? If not, try it, go for a walk without your device. Research has shown being able to digitally #detox helps you levels of concentration. Enjoy these tips? Are you frustrated in amount of remote controls that you have? Each device has its own, here is ones I am using currently (TV, android-box, soundbar and video projector). If you lose one it will be hard to replace it. Yes there are universal controllers but all of us that used them know that they are generally hard to set up and you rarely get 100% same functionality than with originals. The situation reminds a bit what we had a while ago with smartphone chargers with plethora of alternatives which are incompatible with each other. Fortunately this seems to be finally fixed as EU USB-C directive forced Apple to abandon its own proprietary charger (lightning) which was the last major fort of proprietary charging. Of course full transition will take years to complete as there are still a lot of lightning and even microUSB devices out there. Would it be possible to do same for remote controllers what USB-C did for chargers? A universal common standard for remote controllers that devices sold in EU would be obliged to follow (and hopefully rest of the world follow behind). Proprietary remote controllers are similar unnecessary waste source as proprietary chargers. Most of them have same basic buttons like arrows, OK, home, volume up/down, power on/off.
