Parks Associates' latest research finds a high interest in energy systems and services among MDU property owners and managers, with 69% showing interest in a backup power service and 56% showing a high interest in a generator for backup power during outages. "Smart building solutions can create innumerable benefits to multifamily properties, provided the deployment and ongoing support are planned correctly for each property," said Elizabeth Parks, President and CMO, Parks Associates. Redhawk Real Estate faced a major lighting challenge at one of its apartment complexes in Indianapolis. The ten street lights currently installed along the main thoroughfare were in various states of disrepair and outright failure. The street was illuminated by a combination of weak, failing fixtures and off-the-shelf, undersized solar lights installed atop some poles as a stop-gap measure. Enter FSG! FSG Account Manager Brandon Kollar took charge, conducting a detailed site visit, mapping out issues, and proposing creative solutions. Three bids were presented to the customer, including a streamlined option with commercial-grade solar heads. What sealed the deal was a demonstration of FSG’s proposed solar lighting solution with a 60-watt Solar Photon LED area light. FSG installed just one light on a pole as a demo. The customer reported that tenants were contacting him directly to thank him for the new and improved lighting on the "sample" pole. As a result, he also approved the purchase and installation of the remaining nine lights. Listening to Redhawk's needs, FSG provided a fast, efficient, and budget-friendly solution. The outcome? A win-win for Redhawk Real Estate and FSG's dedicated team, showcasing the power of collaboration and tailored solutions. #FSG #TeamFSG

CMTA strategically implemented low-flow fixtures, resulting in a remarkable 35% reduction in water usage.
