What I start company where I can hire everyone without this 3 year so called experience? All I would need is loyal employee that can work on commission based income first 3 month. Here is what I think: 1. Create a business. 2. Launch website and platform. 3. Hire people and teach them for free. 4. Keep them for 3 years to give the so called 3 year experience that is needed. 5. Provide referral and reference letters to all who wish to depart and search for better job. I am not promising much from this post. Nor I expect much retention or even people loving the idea. But point is Simple. I rather start a business and hire inexperienced graduate from school or whatever with no pay or commission pay only for 3 month and after keep them for full income based salary. Rather than saying that you need 3 year experience.

Tech Sales Professionals, Whether you like it or not, your current compensation largely dictates your future earnings Sure, there are rare cases where people experience a huge jump in pay (think >30% increase). And in a perfect world, compensation would be based solely on your skills. But let's be honest... In reality, for most of us this doesn't apply. So, how can you steadily increase your earnings over time? Work for companies that prioritize regular financial growth (ask during interview processes what the criteria are for payrises & increased benefits such as additional stock options, annual leave etc.) and maximize the value you bring to the table. Build a skill set that’s in demand with those kinds of companies. Don’t stick around the same role for more than 3-5 years. Always aim to have multiple offers in hand when you're ready to make a move.

Over the past two years many have accepted roles out of necessity and not choice. This will make 2024 a year of backfilling, as the passive employee is waiting for something better. Making the majority in a position of being employed but always looking. Three key areas of focus; Compensation Purpose Flexibility One role in B2B that is highly sought after is the mighty AE. But, Houston we have a problem — the majority of the SDRs are not qualified for a promotion and lack the skill set. Think back to the front end development role 5-6 years ago, which is now the new AE position in the market. Highly sought after and compensated.

Dear Hiring Managers, Take a chance. Take a chance on that applicant who checks almost all of your boxes. Take a chance on that applicant who may not have working experience with a certain software, but multiple other software programs similar to the one niche program you’re wanting. Take a chance on that applicant that has the experience over the educational background. Take a chance on that applicant who is wanting to career change, because they will work harder than the rest of us. I was just passed up an opportunity because of lack of software experience. I spent 6 hours on youtube and google and other platforms watching videos to familiarize myself with that particular billing platform. But my 3 years of direct experience, topped with another 5+ years of indirect-but-still-related experience wasn’t enough for an interview. Take a chance. Interview the applicant you don’t think is a good fit. Because I know for certain, I would have been. So if anyone is hiring in #legalbilling , #accountspayable , #payroll or anything remotely related, around the #Nashville area or #remote I would love to chat!
