Mezmo presentation by CEO Tucker Callaway and principal solutions architect Bill Meyer at #AppDev Field Day just concluded. A few highlights: • Mezmo optimizes telemetry data (metrics, events, logs, and traces) in stream to make it more relevant, contextual, and efficient for #observability purposes. • It can also lets you automate the replacement of entire log files with metrics, sharply reducing data volume (∼75%-85% range). • Mezmo addresses a good deal of log coding, necessarily inconsistent and hard to manage, allowing coders to just “log everything” without worry about having to manage that potential for data bloat. Future Day 2024 – Learning about agile software development at Clou... On April 25, 2024, Cloudogu hosted seven schoolchildren as part of the nationwide 'Future Day' event. The children gained an insight into various professions dominated by gender and got to know everyday life at Cloudogu through playful learning experiences. They learned about Scrum and programming concepts using Scratch, a block-based visual programming language. The children went through a complete sprint cycle themselves, developing a game of catch in Scratch. They discussed requirements and implementation options in sprint planning, then started the sprint with good feeling of being able to implement all minimum requirements. After just two hours, all groups had a working game of catch, implementing other ideas during this time. The 'Future Day' ended with a retrospective where the children discussed the day, what they liked, what could have been done better, and what they learned. The event was an all-round successful day that gave the children a good insight into agile software development at Cloudogu and showed them a possible perspective for their professional future. https://ift.tt/WclbU5n #news #cto #tech
