A Tier 1 telecom provider’s critical cell tower in Canada has reduced fuel costs by 90% in addition to drastically cutting its carbon emissions thanks to Charge Solar, Apeiron Energy’s Remote Integrated Arctic Solar solution (ARIAS®️), Polarium batteries, Qcells North America solar panels, & Morningstar TriStar Charge Controllers. Given Northern Manitoba’s arctic conditions, renewable energy was ideal for this project due to not requiring refueling or time consuming maintenance. This telecom company was able to reduce its cellular tower’s dependence on two diesel generators, enabling it to meet its ESG goals - all while maintaining 99.5% reliability. The European parliament had adopted a proposal to make Solar PVs mandatory for large buildings in the medium term to phase out Russian fossil fuels and accelerate the green transition. This is great news for sustainability and the energy transition.
