Today, we’re taking a moment to reflect on how lucky we are to have the best supporters! These are just a handful of comments from this past year, but they represent the kindness, vulnerability and positivity we receive in our comments sections every day. We are grateful for every single interaction, which help us to raise awareness of vital issues and ultimately provide the best support we can to people affected by cancer. If there’s anyone you’d like to take a moment to thank before we head into the New Year, feel free to do so in the comments. 💚

These are two great tips for parents who have cancer.
I moderated a panel this weekend about parenting through cancer and was honored to be on the stage with Jeff Hlaveck, founder of the Pickles Group, and renowned patient advocate Jill Feldman. Both are cancer survivors and parents. What were my takeaways? (1) Control the message. Share with your friends and family how you are speaking with your kids about your cancer, so they are using similar language and approaches. This creates a more cohesive support system for your child. (2) This doesn't ever get easier for children - keep the dialogue open. Through remission or loss, a parent's cancer weighs on them - every single day. Let's keep talking about parental cancer and the importance of caring for kids.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month to raise awareness of childhood cancers and how childhood cancer affects families. For this year, A Month of Movement aims to encourage you to move more for the month of September and raise vital funds for research into children’s cancers as you go. Move an extra 30 minutes for 30 days with your children this month. I know school has started but that is all the more reason to move more with your children. You can do 30 minutes at once, break it up into two 15-minute activities or three 10-minute activities. This will be good for you AND good for your children! What are some easy ways that you can get your family to move this month? Write your ideas in the comments. #childhoodcancerawareness #amonthofmovement

Imagine being 4 years old, an age typically filled with carefree play and boundless energy. Now picture having to lie perfectly still, wearing a custom-molded mask bolting your head to a table, day after day, for 30 treatments, followed by another 10 sessions. The sheer magnitude of what Neev endured is both heart-wrenching and awe-inspiring! Let Neev's bravery be the catalyst that inspires us all to take action. Together, we can make a significant impact in the lives of children facing cancer, ensuring they receive the best possible care, support, and chance at a healthy future. What will you do today to make a difference?
For children like Neev and Ronil, cancer means facing terrifying moments like this—where their bravery is tested, and pain is endured. These masks, molded to fit their heads, are crucial for radiation therapy, a process that’s even more terrifying when they’re awake, unable to move as the treatment begins. The courage these children show is beyond measure. We hear their cries, and it’s up to us to answer—with hope, support, and action. Every child deserves a future, and we can make that future brighter through research and philanthropy. Register for our BORN Gala NOW -- Find the link in the comments.

latest animation I did for Telix. had so much fun bringing this to life! (how cute are the illustrations!!) #animation #motiondesign #motiondesigner #melbournemotiondesigner #2d #aftereffects
At Telix, we are united by a common purpose – to help people living with cancer and rare diseases live longer, better quality lives. This year, more than 100,000 Telix doses were delivered to patients through our approved imaging agent, clinical trials and early access programs. That’s a dose every 5 minutes. At this time of year, our thoughts are with those who continue to be affected by cancer. In honour of them we will be making donations to Prostate Health Education Network, Sock it to Sarcoma! and the International Brain Tumour Alliance. We thank you - our collaborators, customers, shareholders and friends, without whom we would not be where we are today. We wish you and your families a peaceful and happy holiday season.
