With all major parties making headline pledges on law and order, we’ve asked our in-house think tank Crest Insights to take a closer look. In the next few days we will be publishing reviews of the manifestos from the leading parties on our website. Our manifesto analysis will outline the stark challenges facing the criminal justice system, measure how much each party’s commitments match up against these challenges, and suggest what is missing. First up is our analysis of the Conservative Party manifesto. All of this work follows the independent and non-party approach which Crest Insights and the rest of Crest Advisory applies to all its work - it’s led by evidence, not agendas and draws on research we’ve done in the past and work for police forces, Mayors, PCC and other clients. You can find our analysis of the Conservative Party manifesto crime and justice commitments on our website: https://lnkd.in/eXadGTA4 We’ll be doing exactly the same for Labour in the next few days, along with the Liberal Democrats and other parties.
