The further I have gone in my work as a leadership, the more that I have learned that the measure of a true leader is how well they can work across diverse groups of humans. Diversity isn't just about how we appear, it is about how we think, how we learn, how we grow, and how we were taught to engage with the world. And neurodiverse people make up a huge portion of our population. In fact, most founders I know identify as such. And yet, still so much of our leadership conversations are leaving out how to work well together across the wide and beautiful spectrum of ways in which our brains work. It's time we shift the discussion, and learn to lead in ways that invite, empower, and provide more people with the support they need to do their best work. I am SO grateful to Kelly George for being brave and bold in sharing her story and using it to catalyze an entirely different and much needed conversation about the future of leadership. Founders, leaders, and neurodiverse people — this conversation is for you.
