In our continuous discussions about the importance of mentors and executive coaches for leaders, we've come across an insightful article that sheds light on a crucial aspect often overlooked - the dangers of leaders pretending to know it all. The article emphasizes the the downside of 'faking it 'til they make it' for new leaders, highlighting the importance of authenticity, humility, and a willingness to learn. Leadership beyond titles? What does that even mean? Do I need to be in a position of power to be a leader? In pondering over leadership, perhaps one word succinctly highlight leadership, and that word is; INFLUENCE. Interesting enough, influence spreads sometimes in subtle and silent ways. Yet you can tell it's there, and possibly determine your circumference of influence (maybe not entirely😀 but a fair idea👍). But that alone is not what have kept me typing this noon. My concern is with respect to Leadership continuity and the role of past leaders in influencing their said organizations while maintaining the boundary line of intruding in the operations of current leadership administration. As a team member of The Brainy Leadership Team I had the opportunity to discuss the concept of Leadership Continuity on a session with Michael Brainy Appeadu. What are your thoughts about Leadership?
