FLW Public Lectures Series: Transitional Justice and Bosnia nd Herzegovina: A Case Study of Foča and Kalinovik During the lecture, Prof. Dr. Pettigrew will focus on the exploration of memorialization attempts and challenges victims are encountering as well as identifying and recommending potential mechanisms on how to overcome them. The center of interest is the case of Foča and Kalinovik - two towns in Eastern Bosnia where the glorification of war criminals has more potential than memorialization and ultimately reconciliation. The Soul-searching the Palestinians Never Do an enlightening article in Haaretz English Edition by Dr. Michael Milshtein, the former head of the Department for Palestinian Affairs in IDF Military Intelligence. Today, he heads the Palestinian Studies Forum at Tel Aviv University’s Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies, and is a senior fellow at the Institute for Policy and Strategy, at Reichman University. Dr. Milshtein reflects on the Palestinians' refusal to accept co-existence with Israel and their lack of ability - throughout the 75-year conflict with Israel - to view themselves as being perpetrators rather than victims. Instead, they are willing to justify or excuse any Palestinian actions, such as the massive suicide bombings perpetrated in the past against Israeli civilians, including children and babies, and the recent barbaric and monstrous travesty committed by Hamas, intentionally murdering, raping, torturing and maiming hundreds of families in the most brutal and horrific way since the Holocaust. At this point, it does not matter who is politically right in the Israeli Palestinian war. What matters more is the lives of the civilians from both sides. Innocent civilians should not be hurt nor should they be terrorized, displaced or held hostages. It’s time to point the finger to the responsibles from both parties who could not find a solution to this conflict. Hamas should be dismantled and face justice. With the same token Natabyahu’s government should be dismantled and face justice as well. Let people live peacefully and cohabit without propaganda or idiology. Therefore, we need a new young generation to lead both parties. After thorough analysis I realised that there are two basic and fundamental defects in the constitution of UNO which are 1. Veto Power System for the permanent members of the security council of UNO 2. All member countries of UNO are not signatory to the Rome statute as the result of which some countries are not under the jurisdiction of International Criminal Court whereas all the member countries have to be under the jurisdiction of International Criminal Court so that peace prevails in the world. . Due to these defects America has made a mockery of the UNO so much so UNO is reduced to a puppet in the hands of the America. Consequently America with some allies have invaded and looted several Muslim countries like Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya and looted these countries then leaving these countries after the loot is complete. Presently America with the help of Israel (Israel is not under the jurisdiction of ICJ). is demolishing Gaza and doing the cold blooded mass murders before the whole world and the world and the UNO are simply watching devastation, destruction, displacement, ethenic cleansing, murder especially of children and women and genocide and nobody has any power to question them because of these defect of UNO.

History is important. Knowing history helps us advance as we learn from past mistakes and successes. So why do most people ignore history? Our insistence in ignoring history will only allow our mistakes to be repeated. Even worse, what happens when history is covered up and re-written? The result is the #GazaGenocide with the world leaders supporting the mass murder, all the while funding #IsraelTerrorists with the arms to commit this #GazaHolocaust. The US is not only complicit in the genocide, it is also complicit in covering up history when it lies about all of the destruction it has caused throughout the world blaming it on this group and that group. Such is the case with Palestine. The history of Palestine didn't start on October 7th. The history of Palestine started long before that. For example, in 1901 when the #ZionistTerrorists implemented their plan to take over Palestine and then using armed militias to expel Palestinians from their land, history still didn't start then. Hundreds of years before that, when Palestine was the home for Christians, Jews and Muslims who all lived peacefully under the Ottoman Empire, history still didn't start then. We could keep going. It is important to know the facts and lift the veil of the fabricated history and lies pandered by those corrupt powers. Here is glimpse of the true history to get you started.
