🌍 Championing Open-Source and Digital Sovereignty at Cyberwall in Galaxia 🚀 I’m thrilled to be representing Logion at Cyberwall in Galaxia, an event taking place in the heart of Wallonia's tech and space hub, alongside the European Space Agency (ESA). In today’s digital landscape, I strongly believe that open-source solutions are key to enhancing digital sovereignty. Instead of relying on costly proprietary technologies, we have the opportunity to invest in and contribute to open-source developments that offer powerful alternatives. At Logion, we are doing just that by leveraging blockchain and decentralized storage (IPFS) to secure sensitive data and protect digital assets. This is the direction we should be heading, building resilient, community-driven technologies that not only strengthen our cybersecurity but also give us greater control over our digital infrastructure. My efforts also extend into artificial intelligence for the public sector, where I continue to advocate for open-source AI solutions that are transparent, adaptable, and free from the lock-ins of foreign companies. We need more initiatives like this in Belgium. It’s time to shift from expensive licenses to investing in technologies that empower us locally and offer greater long-term sustainability.
