Gently twist your body while swinging arms so that one crosses in front of your body and one behind. I’m demonstrating a beginner’s stance. You can bump it up by twisting your body to the side with each swing, which also helps stimulate blood flow. Practice for a few minutes and set a timer if need be. Remember to breathe. 🧬 The science: These movements help the body to move from a sympathetic state (stress, anxiety, fight, flight) to a parasympathetic state (grounded, safe, rest, digest). This helps your body and mind release tension so you can get back to your day. It’s gentle but packs a powerful punch! Let me know if you try it.

📌What they don’t tell you in schools. How you present yourself matters. We’ve been wired to get good grades, focus on books, horn our skills, be the best in the game and everything in between. What they don’t tell you is, in an interview room, a C student can be selected over a A student based on their level of self belief. What they also don’t tell you is, once you present your winning business proposal to potential investors, your level of confidence trumps over qualification. How you present yourself opens you up to opportunities that qualifications can’t. But what does that really look like in real time; 1️⃣ Confident Body Language This is your posture, gesture and facial expressions. You want to convey confidence with everything but words. You can stand tall, maintain eye contact and maintain open gestures which are a few cues used to portray confidence. 2️⃣Clear and Assertive Communication I’ll be inclined to listen to someone who speaks clearly with conviction and purpose. Wait for it. Energy matters. You control your level of confidence. Your physiology. Your tone. Your pace of walking. Your body movement. Your eyes. Your inner voice. All of this matters. Some of us learn this later on in life. But it must be learned.

One of my clients shared this article with me, and I see it’s popular amongst Dr. Peter Attia fans (whom we also love). Wanted to share it with you!
