Dr Singhal I have lot of pain in my back: a patient in Opd came with this pain. Is this enough? No. Getting deep into the history, evaluation, observation is important. Aside from that looking for all red flags is really very important before starting any treatment protocol. Need to know✔️ : History taking is very important : knowing the importance of asking medical and surgical history. :observing the gait pattern and posture of patient since they enter into your chamber. : don't ignore if they have there investigation reports with them. : reconsider all the information patient is telling. The reality is that NOT everyone is cut out for behavioral therapy. Most people have no idea what responsibilities they’re taking on when they apply for and/or are hired into this position. ABA is one of the only medical fields that DOES not require extensive training. Do you know that several ABA companies DO NOT put their employees through a structured training? They claim it’s too expensive, therefore they omit it entirely. Many will schedule new employees 1-2 days of “shadowing”, then throw the new hire into a direct therapy role. Could you imagine if our surgeons, dentists, or ultrasound technicians had similar “training”?
