Mother's Day was yesterday... Or not? Hi there! Yesterday, I spent #MothersDay with my mom. But it was Mother's day for me. In my country and many others, we celebrate said holiday the second Sunday of #May, but that is not the case in other countries. I can actually say I was born on Mother's Day if I want to because in Bolivia, they celebrate it every May 27th. Do you see what's going on? #CulturalSensitivity can change the lenses through which your brand and message are perceived. This is specially important for #digitalmarketingchannels, because people are online every day. As a #fCMO, and #MarketingStrategist it's my job to be aware of all this and make your #internationalbrand connect with #localaudiences. Now... I am looking to apply this knowledge to #earlystagemedtech starups and my schedule is open for meetings. Let's connect! And on the meantime, you can learn more about my perspectives on this in my #biweeklyneewsletter, Translate Your Message. #TranslateYourMessage #KarlaElenaCeballos #FractionalCMO P.S.: I took my mom to an Italian restaurant, so that's the vibe I used generating the image with #dalleia

Whānau Hotaka Manurewa 4th intake of 2024 covering off values. Values are important because they guide our actions and decisions, helping us stay true to ourselves. They give us purpose, build strong relationships, and inspire others. Living our values, like family, purpose, and positivity, makes our lives meaningful and positively impacts those around us. In challenging times, values keep us grounded and motivated. 🌟 Check out what our whānau hotaka participants had to say about their values: ✅ Make them practical: plan quality family time, involve your kids, and share meals and trips together. ✅ Understand your purpose, like working hard to support your family financially. ✅ Maintain a positive mindset, believe in yourself, and encourage your kids even when they struggle. ✅ Surround yourself with positivity, and your uplifting energy will naturally draw others to you! 🌟 Serena Curtis Ngaere Hauiti-Parapara

"One thing for certain is #Ecuador gave more to us then we could have ever given it. It was powerful. Tandana is powerful. To provide the opportunity to be part of something greater and to see the tangible, lasting results of our efforts is incredible." So writes a participant in Tandana's recent Trip with Intention to Ecuador. Read more reflections from the trip in a new blog.

What could have easily spiralled into a harmful “cancel” moment was quickly turned around as the truth emerged, and South Africans rallied behind Jan. Social media was soon flooded with love and support for the braai master, with many users defending him and pointing out how easily a misleading video can change the story. "We need to focus on our country’s positivity. We can’t let things divide us, especially things that are not true. We are stronger together! I think we need to spend less time fighting with each other online and more time together, united around a lekker braai," Jan told Good Things Guy. The irony in it all? On a day meant to celebrate our heritage, including the tradition of gathering for a braai, South Africans came together on social media to stand behind a man whose very name is Jan Braai! This wasn’t just about defending a person, but about uniting for something bigger: a shared culture, a love for braaiing, and a sense of fairness that brought everyone together. 21 Ways In 21 Day #17 Our National Day is Love the Land Day. What if we reframed Australia’s National Day to “Love the Land Day”? The tag line could be, throw off your shoes and throw off your fears, get connected with the Land we all Love. On ‘Love the Land Day’ people are encouraged to walk on the land with their bare feet and learn to love it more. In a genuine way, people are encouraged to deepen their relationship to nature and to share in connection activities with their neighbours. ‘Love the Land Day’ is not just about nature. It is also about place. Where we live matters. On ‘Love the Land Day’ people are encouraged to find out more about the place where they live. What’s the history, how has it changed over time, and what’s the next phase for your place? If Australia’s National Day was ‘Love the Land Day’ it could help draw us closer through a common love of land and common fate. If we don’t love it, who will? If we don’t care and nourish the lands and waters, it will negatively impact the quality of life for all of us. ‘Love the Land Day’ takes us into the spiritual and personal with our individual connection to land, as well as the national arena of caring for country. Most importantly, ‘Love the Land Day’ will bring us closer together, feeling more belonging and pride in our places and neighbourhoods. Be encouraged and encourage others. Coming up Next: Our National Day is Postcode Pride Day
