Here are seven highlighted sentences from the article, i posted here before, as "Comparison of Knee Joint Proprioception and Balance between Soccer and Volleyball Players and Non-athletes":⚽️🏐 ●The aim of this study was to compare the knee joint proprioception between soccer and volleyball players and non-athletic men. ●Ninety healthy male individuals were divided into three groups; including soccer players, volleyball players, and non-athletes (n=30 for each group). ●Active (AAR) and passive (PAR) angle reproduction error at an angular velocity of 60˚/s with a target angle of 45˚ were measured using a Biodex dynamometer. ●The volleyball players had less AAR than the soccer players and non-athletic subjects significantly (P<0.05). However, there were no statistical differences in PAR between the three groups (P>0.05). ●The volleyball players had better balance comparing to soccer players and non-athletes significantly (P<0.05). ●This study indicates that better knee joint proprioception and balance in volleyball players is attributed to repeated jumping motions in this sport.
