WISHCYLING In an era where environmental consciousness is on the rise, recycling has become a household practice that many of us take for granted. We diligently sort our waste into bins labeled 'paper', 'plastic', 'glass' and 'tin', with the genuine hope that these items will find a second life, reducing waste and conserving resources. However, an unintended consequence of our good intentions has emerged: 'wishcycling'. This is the act of tossing questionable or non-recyclable items into the recycling bin in the hope that they can somehow be salvaged.
