Fresh Grad, Get your FIRST JOB fast (2-4) : My Perspective
THINK BEFORE ACT!!!
I understand that not many employers want to hire inexperienced workers, and you may have exhausted the skills you know in pursuing a high-paying job. This segment might be challenging, but don't give up. While still pursuing opportunities in that specific segment, shift your focus to other areas.
For those about to graduate, seize the chance to intern at your targeted company by sending an email to their HR. If you secure the internship position, display your positive attitude, seek a mentor for learning, and actively search for job openings. Ask for coaching from your mentor to enhance your chances of being hired. If this method still doesn't work and seems challenging, remember that's the beauty of being alive. Let's explore other available options.
Explore the protege website and register (http://protege.gov.my/www/), patiently waiting for their response. Have fun while waiting for a job offer or an interview, but not for too long; three months is too extended. If this method still doesn't work, let's try other available options.
While waiting for a job offer or an interview, search for companies on this website (https://lnkd.in/grN8SnrR) that have successfully won numerous projects in your area of interest. Express your interest to their HR department. If this method still doesn't work, let's try other available options.
Look for a company near your residential area that is a good fit for you to invest your time in. Reach out to them via email (or better yet, walk in and introduce yourself), highlighting your skills, positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and expressing your admiration for their company (remember to study or gain insight about their company before doing this). Indicate your interest in joining their team for any available position and request an interview, ensuring you present your best self in terms of attitude, attire, supporting documents, and first impression.
Remember one thing: if you are looking for a glorious career path, join a company with a good boss who can groom you into somebody, not just anybody. Gain as much experience as you can, always maintain a positive attitude, be humble, stay hungry, and stay foolish.
