Dear Companies,
It's important to distinguish between Product Design and UI/UX Design. Lately, I've noticed numerous job postings labeled as Product Design roles that are actually UI/UX positions. As a Product Designer, I find this amusing, misleading & wrong.
Product Design encompasses the entire process of creating a product, from conception through development, addressing user needs, business goals and market viability. UI/UX Design, while a crucial component, focuses specifically on the user interface and user experience.
Understanding these differences can help attract the right talent and set accurate expectations for potential candidates. Clear job descriptions not only benefit job seekers but also enhance your company's hiring efficiency and success.
