Two A’s of sales which I follow in my daily business:- Appease - It’s good to know what your customer wants and helping them to get it is a milestone and this is appeasement. If your customer is asking for an earphone help them to choose the best one which suits their lifestyle. Affirm - Making your customer feel what they want/buying is the best in the market/currently available is affirming their decision and it makes them feel respected and an achiever. Let them know they bought the best earphone and from the best person. Try this and look how your sales pitch improves.
