Today, as we pause to reflect on one of the darkest days in our nation's history, September 11, 2001, we are reminded not only of the tragic events themselves but also of the enduring values that define us as a country. On this solemn anniversary, we pay tribute to the innocent lives lost in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93 as well as the bravery of first responders who rushed towards danger.    Our reflection also goes beyond the immediate aftermath of that dark day as we acknowledge the lingering impacts on certain communities, the inequitable access to healthcare for those affected, and the policy responses that challenged civil liberties and disproportionately affected certain groups.   As we pay homage to the heroes who sacrificed everything and the families forever changed, let us also stand together to reaffirm our commitment to the principles that define us as a nation. In the spirit of 9/11, we honor not only freedom and resilience but also justice and equity. Let us continue to work towards a society that upholds these values for all, recognizing that the lessons learned from this tragedy extend beyond this moment to shape our ongoing pursuit of a more just and inclusive America.   #neverforget #UnitedWeStand #September11
