In their latest paper, Khadija Echefaj, Abdelkabir Charkaoui, Anass CHERRAFI, Sunil Tiwari, Pankaj Sharma & Charbel Jose CHIAPPETTA JABBOUR propose a conceptual framework for designing a sustainable supply chain within the circular economy framework. They analyze the existing literature and identify research opportunities to assist in the transition from linear to circular economies. The framework can be used by researchers and managers to implement circular economy practices in supply chain networks.* From linear to circular sustainable supply chain network optimisation: towards a conceptual framework READ HERE: https://lnkd.in/eRadxtBE #Circulareconomy #Sustainablesupplychain #sustainability #Conceptualframework #Resourceefficiency #supplychaindesign #supplychain #SCM #supplychainmanagement *Source: Dimensions (Summarize)

Sustainable Supply Chain Management: Sustainable supply chain management is the practice of integrating environmental, social and financial considerations into the sourcing, production and distribution of goods and services. The practice involves managing the entire supply chain, from raw materials to final disposal, with sustainability in mind, including goals such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving working conditions and adopting eco-friendly practices. Sustainable supply chain management aims to minimize any negative impacts of business operations on the environment and society while ensuring efficiency and reliability. #sustainablesupplychain
