To my Bloomington-Normal community... The IWU MakerGirl Academy is partnering with For A Better Tomorrow in their STEAM Olympics program, in partnership with Illinois Wesleyan University! For those who may not know, MakerGirl is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gender gap in STEM by teaching young girls about STEM through 3D printing. Although our target audience is girls, we welcome boys to join our sessions. The IWU MakerGirl Academy is excited to teach young students about STEM and 3D printing, as well as have the opportunity to make their own 3D design. Our 3D printing workshops will take place on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 on the IWU campus. If you know families with children within grades 2nd through 8th grade and are ecstatic about STEM and/or 3D printing, this program is FOR them!!
