The #CheetahGeneration is a new wave of Africans who are frustrated with the failures of their leaders. They refuse to rely on governments to solve their problems and have no interest in waiting for foreign aid. Instead, they view every challenge in Africa as an opportunity for entrepreneurship and are ready to take matters into their own hands. #AfricanEntrepreneurs #LeadershipChange #RiseOfAfrica #InnovateAfrica #EmpowerAfrica #YouthForChange #AfricanSolutions #EntrepreneurialAfrica #FutureOfAfrica, African Students For Liberty, Students For Liberty, ASFL Rwanda

"13 years ago, we set to change Africa. We wanted African solutions, but not out of selfishness or out of ideology, but because we know instinctively that African solutions will help solve African problems. In 2015, we decided to focus laser and solely on entrepreneurship. To me, given my history, it was a natural thing. It was natural instinct that if we helped, seeing my own life story and journey that entrepreneurship can indeed help to transform a continent." ⁃ Our Founder’s (Tony O. Elumelu, C.F.R) impactful message on the power of entrepreneurship in transforming Africa at the TEF Roundtable, in partnership with UNDP, UNICEF and Generation Unlimited, on the sidelines of #UNGA78! #ThrowbackThursday #EmpoweredByTEF #TEFImpact

Entrepreneurship in Africa: Demystifying the Mirage 💡🌍 Africa is a hotbed of entrepreneurial activity. The unyielding energy and resilience displayed by our entrepreneurs are commendable, but there is a story that often goes unheard. It's the story of tough challenges, systemic issues, and limited resources that most African businesses grapple with regularly. We need to cast light on this reality and address it head-on. Advocating for policy changes, promoting ease of doing business, enhancing access to finance and creating a supportive ecosystem will go a long way in alleviating these pressures. Let's show the world that Africa means business! Together, we can write an empowering narrative for African entrepreneurship.

On World Humanitarian Day, we celebrate the spirit of compassion and the relentless drive to make a difference. In Africa, this spirit fuels not only humanitarian efforts but also the growth and development of businesses across the continent. Just as humanitarians work to uplift communities, African entrepreneurs are building the future—creating jobs, driving innovation, and fostering economic resilience. Business development in Africa is more than just a financial endeavor; it’s a mission to empower people, uplift communities, and create sustainable growth. As we honor the humanitarians who give selflessly, let’s also recognize the entrepreneurs who are transforming challenges into opportunities, making Africa a beacon of hope and progress. Together, we can build a brighter, more prosperous future for all. #WorldHumanitarianDay, #BusinessDevelopment, #AfricaRising, #Empowerment, #SustainableGrowth

🚀 Entrepreneurs: The True Avengers of Africa's Development 🌍 Let's be clear: the desire for development and being a growth engine for Africa should never be conflated with the pursuit of political power. As entrepreneurs in emerging markets, we are the real changemakers – equipped with unique skills and experiences, ready to solve our own problems, create value, and build wealth. Who our "Nick Fury" is or what the "powers that be" think only matters in creating an environment for our success and the propagation of the best ideas. Remember, the arc of politics is finite, but the journey of development is infinite. We're not waiting for permission or direction. We're ready to usher in our generation's biggest reclamation project. It's time to shift the narrative from political ambitions to entrepreneurial actions. Are you ready to be an Avenger for Africa's future? Let's assemble and build the Africa we envision! 💪🏿💡💼 #AfricanEntrepreneurs #DevelopmentNotPolitics #EmergingMarkets #BuildingAfrica #EntrepreneurialSpirit What's your superpower in this mission to develop Africa? Speaking at the Inter-Parliamentary Union Conference for Young Parliamentarians today, I gave a Namibian country perspective on #QualityEducation and #DecentWork for young people, as we approach the 2030 #SDG deadline. I highlighted our country’s efforts to expand access to quality education, address the skills mismatch, and foster youth entrepreneurship. But the journey is far from over! Our call to action is to invest in education, strengthen public-private partnerships, support young entrepreneurs, and work together globally to ensure no young person is left behind.
