Everyone not in the military can fold the flag to end up just like this, a rectangle and this is the best fold to use when burning the the flag that is no longer appropriate for display. Those associated with the military, veterans and cadets/mids are required by military regs to fold the American flag in a triangle. No one else is required to. All state flags are required to be folded into a rectangle unless the state legislature has approved a different fold (Ohio). Check with them or the state attorney general. All colors, flags with a staff sleeve that are only used for indoor displays and color guards, are folded twice lengthwise and draped over a hanger, or if needed, in a rectangle, but never into a triangle. #MakeFlagFoldingGreatAgain 🔆Education is 🔑! . 🔹Read your manuals! Hello, on this occasion I would like to share my portfolio project. Where this project is part of the specialization course that I took, which is Military Product Design. A What Might Have Been British Export Fighter: A conceptual operational British Aerospace/U.S. Navy supersonic ASTO/VL fighter. The illustration depicts the aircraft as if it had gone into production and exported for use by the USN and/or the USMC. During the late 1970s - early 1980s, a British Aerospace proposal for a follow-on to the Harrier “Jump Jet” was evaluated by the British MoD. The P.1214-3 was an advanced design for a supersonic Advanced Short Takeoff/Vertical Landing (ASTO/VL) for the RAF and Royal Navy. The Forward Swept Wing (FSW) design blended into the roots and joined the structure with a twin-boom arrangement and aft-swept horizontal stabilizer. To achieve the required vertical lift the aircraft would have been powered by a PCM (Plenum Chamber Burning) component utilizing two swiveling vector-thrusters and a 2-dimentional aft nozzle. Dubbed the “X-Wing Fighter”, the P.1214-3 only reached a preliminary design stage. The noise that the screw (what propeller is called on a submarine) gives off can give away the position of the submarine. The noise is generally created because of cavitation. That is why when it comes to the designing of submarines, the blades are designed so that they are capable of creating thrust while keeping cavitation to a minimum. Older submarines could manage speeds of only 2 or 3 knots and still stay quiet. Whereas, the modern submarines are able to achieve speeds of eight to ten knots while maintaining the same noise level.
