Today The Hill, published the "Big Story" " Yellen Warns of AI Dangers". This warning was foretold in George Lucases first film "THX1238". I am a retired banker but when I saw this film, a scene from the movie foretold my future as a commercial banker. I am currently writing a book on my career and this theme contributes to the consolidation of financial institutions during the last 40 years. Without divulging too much of THX1138 , will say this. Intercuts of the protagonist escaping from underground robot police, is a scene of a group of computer operators tracking micro costs in real time. Profits can only be acquired by arbitraging elastic money against inelastic time. AI can eliminate this arbitrage.

Completed the #AI Miniseries Programme on 10x1000 Tech for Inclusion, a global learning platform by Ant Group and the IFC - International Finance Corporation. It was an insightful deep dive into AI’s role in finance and the #digitaleconomy, exploring trends, opportunities, and the challenges AI presents. What I found especially interesting were the sharing on biometric threat trends, how fraudsters are exploiting technology, #deepfake attack types, and solutions for #frauddetection. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone looking to broaden their understanding of AI’s impact in these areas! #personaldevelopment #fintech
