Women representation in leadership as agents of change brings numerous positive impacts to the society for several reasons: - Women bring different life experiences and perspectives to leadership roles, enhancing problem-solving and decision-making processes. - Women in leadership serve as role models, inspiring and mentoring the next generation of female leaders. This creates a positive cycle of empowerment and opportunities for young women and girls. - Gender diversity in leadership is linked to better financial performance and economic growth. #wethewomen UN Partnerships

Strong nonprofit leadership is an essential ingredient to a healthy society.
According to the American Association of University Women, women make up 75% of the nonprofit workforce. You might expect this statistic to extend to women in top leadership roles. But the reality is quite different. While great strides have been made to mitigate gender bias and discrimination in recent years, the gender leadership gap continues to persist. What are the systemic or structural barriers facing women leaders? What should more people understand about women in leadership? How are opportunities being democratized for everyone? What advice would you offer a rising woman leader? As part of the CASE Drive conference at the end of March, our own Chandra Montgomery will moderate a panel discussion delving into these questions and how they might be addressed within the field of advancement. Chandra will be joined by a stellar group of advancement leaders in higher education, including Arwen Duffy, Christian Elsberry, Sharise Harrison, and Anne Dean. This year's International Women's Day theme is #InspireInclusion. Inclusion is a value that I try to center in my personal and professional life. As I look forward to moderating a panel of brilliant and inspiring women leaders in Advancement later this month at the CASE DRIVE Conference, I urge everyone to do their part to eliminate gender-based inequities and disparities that persist in the nonprofit sector because the world needs more leaders like Arwen Duffy, Christian Elsberry, Sharise Harrison, Anne Dean, and DRIVE Chair Shalonda Martin, Ed.D., ACC. In the words of this year's #iwd2024 campaign, may we all continue to be intentional in our leadership and advocacy: When women aren't present, we must ask: "If not, why not?" When women are discriminated against, we must call out poor practice. When the treatment of women is not equitable, we must take action. And we must do this each time, every time. Why did we create the Pathway to Parity program? At enAble Advisors, we believe in cultivating a future where gender parity is not just a goal but a reality. Our tailor-made program, Pathway to Parity, is designed to build a pipeline of effective young and female leaders. As we approach International Women’s Day under the theme 'Invest in women: Accelerate progress,' we are reminded of the urgent need to address the underrepresentation of women in leadership. Despite advancements in education and workplace diversity, women continue to face barriers to advancement. Join us in taking a stand to #InvestInWomen and accelerate progress towards a more equitable future. Together, we can break the glass ceiling and create a world where every woman has the opportunity to lead. #IWD2024 #Coaching #Leadership #pathwaytoparity #leader #inclusion #diversityandinclusion #Investinwomen #accelerateprogress
