The standards #ASME PCC-2 and #ISO 24817 set out the requirements for #engineered #composite #repairs. Providing repairs that comply with these requirements enables the operator, supplier, and regulator to have confidence in the solution provided. However, the detailed requirements need expert assessment and understanding to be implemented as intended. Playing an integral role in writing and developing both ASME and ISO standards since their inception, we have built our process to do just this. Our in-house controls provide an auditable approach allowing us to demonstrate compliance of repairs installed with the governing standards while allowing operators to continue to work safely. We manage the entire process of supplying the repair so that operators only have one point of contact. Our Experience + Pressures up to 345bar (5000psi) + Temperatures from -180°C to 260°C (-292°F to 500°F) + Large-diameter pipe, tanks, and vessels + Continuous lengths of over 150m (500") + Water lines + Oil lines + Flange Lines + Gas Lines + Chemical systems + Tanks and vessels + Gas and liquid pipelines + Structural repairs + Offshore and onshore + Deck repairs Solutions Offering + Inspection + Fitness for services assessment + Combined repairs using composite and enclosures + Structural and through-wall-wall defect repairs Contact us for more information - https://hubs.li/Q02hm-CH0 or infouk@teaminc.com #SafetyFirst #QualityAlways #OnStreamRepairs #LeakSealing #Composite

API 510 (3.1.56) Pressure Test A test performed on pressure vessels that have been in service and that have undergone an alteration or repair to the pressure boundary(s) to indicate that the integrity of the pressure components are still compliant with the original construction code. The pressure test can be hydrostatic, pneumatic, or a combination thereof. Pressure tests at less than those specified by the construction code to determine if there may be leaks in the system are generally referred to as tightness tests. #ipetro #careergrowth

Valve and Flow Control Specialists distribute ASME 1 and ASME VIII Safety Relief Valves. No matter where you are on this planet we can assist you with these valves. (as requested reposted workplace health and safety) If your company has fired pressure vessels / boilers on site it maybe prudent to check your Safety Valves on the boiler and associated equipment. Fired vessels such as Boilers have strict codes of equipment and operational compliance. With noncompliance to local Codes now a criminal offence in many countries litigation there-after if any industrial issues occur it is very important to know the application, fit the correct valves and ensure checks and balances are covered. The onus of compliance sits squarely with the owner of the asset not the supplier or the maintainer although there maybe some consequence of association. Larger boilers will have flanged steel Safety valves. They can be in refineries, hospitals, food processing plants, sugar mills etc. These are more relevant to the ASME Sec 1 compliance requirements, many of which could have valves 20 to 50 years old still operating and being serviced. Our advice is check the last servicing, does the valve have the ASME Sec 1 “V” mark on the body? Is there a stamp affixed to the manufacturer's identity plate? If the valve does not have these markings and stamp you may wish to investigate. An ASME VIII (usually marked with a "UV") valve on a boiler does NOT comply to ASME 1 requirements. We think many will be surprised when they do check. A proactive boiler service company will ensure their clients asset is complying. Bronze valves can also come under the scope of ASME Sec 1 and is the most stringent code when used on boilers however sometimes there can be less demanding requirements in some countries with their own local codes. 📚 ASME B31.12 Hydrogen Piping and Pipeline 🏛 Training is ongoing... >Material Selection< ============= Hydrogen may affect materials differently than other fluids. The effects may be of a general nature or be temperature and/or pressure specific. Issues the designer should address include but are not limited to: (1) #hydrogen embrittlement (2) property changes at low temperature (3) property changes at ultra low temperatures (4) #hydrogen permeation rates (5) electrostatic charge buildup/discharge in electrically nonconductive materials 🔎 What is embrittlement? 🤔 🔎 What is permeation rates? 🤔 🔎 Define HIC, HPIC, HISC, EAC, SCC, SSC?🤔
