Yes, GNSS (and #SatCom and WX RDR) are also under threat from future #telco operations, not to mention #rogue states throwing their weight around the ether in the form of deliberate, non-NOTAM RFI. With the #FCC chomping at the bit for a return of #spectrum "Auction Authority" under the incoming #USA administration, no doubt airline political types are keenly aware of potential implications for #airline / #avionic spectrum #operations and have their #political #advocacy folks teed up and ready to defend their spectrum use. Yes? Dependence on the "we have always done it this way" argument has been shown to be a 'head in the sand' approach, given the $650M cost of temporarily fixing #aircraft #radio #altimeters to cope with reduced power #5G transmissions near airports.
