Every brand should have a podcast. Full stop. I used to over-complicate this. "How do we measure its impact?" "Does it create pipeline?" "Who is actually listening?" Since we started podcasting at The Juice (shoutout Brett McGrath for helping me see the light), I've realized it is so much more than a demand function. It's a healthy forcing function: 💞 for talking to customers, prospects, and the market 🗣 to articulate, refine, and experiment with messaging and storytelling ❓ to ask questions and discover pain points others are feeling 🎙 for consistency in your content program With partners like Rachel Elsts Downey✨ and Share Your Genius, it's also easier than ever before. We talk about The Power of Podcasting in the most recent episode of The Content Cocktail Hour. And, if you're still concerned about measuring it, we share how to do that, too. What are you waiting for?

Most people aren’t listening to your event’s Podcast. There’s a few good reasons for that. For one, it’s a simple profile that meanders all over the place – rather than a high value show about something. Another reason? You’re not treating it as valuable content with promotion. It’s just…there. If you want to create better event content, you need to get specific and smart. Start with your Podcast. In this week’s “Exactly What to Do,” I’m going to share some of the things that get people listening. Make this the best three minutes of your day. Watch here. https://lnkd.in/gKYY-cMs

"Vending Machine" analogy. It doesn't have to be dehumanising, selling the same service over and over again. Some people love to work like that. That said... many creatives would get bored of the repetition, or miss the human-to-human interactions, so the "Creative Partnerships" model is a better fit for them. It also very much depends on the season of your life. Selling 100 logos a year at £2k each could be an amazingly fun experience for someone learning the craft, but deathly boring for an experienced designer. Both would learn something about themselves, for sure, but would it be the best use of their time? 7moYour car wash equipment at Finish Line car washes will damage vehicles and the response is that the damage is not due to faulty equipment so Finish Line is not responsible. If I use your car wash and it damages my vehicle, YES you are responsible. It ripped a piece of molding off of my car and I need it replaced but the Finish Line customer claims representative refused to accept any responsibility for the damage and refused the claim. Who do I need to contact?
