I am calling out to and wanting to reach any clients who are using Indeed to hire Other recruitment businesses do not feel like the main competition when it comes to recruitment at the moment The main barrier I face when it comes to speaking with clients for lower skilled roles is you guessed it .... Indeed As a Business Development Manager Westray Recruitment Group who truly believes in the quality of our Industrial and Manufacturing division in providing temporary recruitment solutions, it is a bitter pill to swallow sometimes when I hear 'We are getting the quality we need from Indeed' 'We don't want to pay the agency fees so we use Indeed' What is the real cost to your business for using Indeed as your only method of recruitment? A) It is limiting and you only have access to a small number of candidates who see your ad with absolutely minimal effort being put into the advertising. The 'free job posts' that are offered do not have the reach, you have to pay at least 20 quid per day to get at least 32 applicants in 30 days *as detailed on their website* How can they make such a generalisation when different roles attract different numbers of candidates depending on a range of different factors 🙄 B) How much does it cost to employ your office manager, hr advisor or hr manager per year. Whilst they could be focused on the operational side of your business, retaining current talent and working on real work based requirements... they are screening candidates, qualifying RTW, sifting through bad CV's, getting ghosted by candidates, not getting the quality candidates they need from people who can perform the role advertised C) Recruitment businesses have access to A LOT more talent than presents itself on one job board platform. We have current available workers, people currently temping with us who are tried and tested, good temps who come back on the market at the end of a placement, a deep database that has been crafted over years of account management, knowing the names of candidates you want to stay away from as a result of past experience... etc etccccc Don't get me wrong, every day is a school day but, when you recruit Industrial and Manufacturing temp workers you get an idea of what is required and type of people that will and will NOT cut it Lastly, I understand that businesses need to test the robustness of their own internal recruitment function, however, relying on Indeed rather than trained professionals who are specialist within their field seems like going to a plumber to fix your electrics Indeed, before you get the hump with my post, *other job boards are available* RANT OVER #recruitment #indeed #temprecruitment
