🌿 The THC Arms Race – Will German Cannabis Clubs Compete for the Strongest Strain? 🌿
With cultivation licenses rolling out to cannabis clubs across Germany, the drive to produce the “highest THC content” may soon take hold. While the idea of ultra-potent cannabis sounds attractive to some, it raises significant issues in testing accuracy and consistency.
In markets like the U.S. and Canada, exaggerated THC percentages have led to a “fake lab landscape,” where potency claims often stray from reality, misleading consumers, notes Olivia Sawyer! Could Germany avoid this pitfall?
🔍 The Solution? Consistent Testing Standards.
Using multiple testing methods—such as gas chromatography and infrared spectroscopy—and requiring standard certifications like ISO can provide the transparency and reliability consumers need. By setting these measures, Germany could lead the way in responsible cannabis regulation, securing trust and safety for all.

The sad state of California this week.
Every single lab owner and brand that sells flower is aware that flower does not test at 30% ever and that the real potency results ( which average in the teens) would never be accepted by customers. The labs all know the truth but choose to keep giving brands the results they need especially when it comes to potency.
Then I hear how a big California brand left a lab recently (let’s call them lab A). The lab who they left called another lab owner (let’s call them lab b) to collude against the new lab who took their business (lab C) . The owner of lab A asked the owner of lab B to pull the large brands products as a team to secretly test them to “prove” the new lab who took the account (Lab C) is lying and falsely giving results. The goal is to not only get Lab C to lose their license ,but harm the brand who took their business elsewhere.
It’s just deplorable snitch behavior that brings everyone down. Repeatedly the DCC is no where to be found or no where near being able to protect consumers or the industry. Tragic really cause everyone loses when we cannot get meaningful change and leadership from the regulators.

2moHi Leigh, You're right - working on a bug repellent brand is super detailed and working with the EPA requires due diligence. The requirements are vastly different than the beauty industry regulations. Wanted to point out that Buzzie is so much more than just fun packaging as shown on your video. There is innovation in the formula and it's a fully tested and effective insect repellent. And, Buzzie actually smells great! William (Liam) Jablesnik William Ahrens SYLVAIN (MAX) MAUR
