NHS England acute trust UEC operational peeps: ❓ How often do you look at your Getting It Right First Time (GIRFT) datasets, aka SEDIT, SAMIT, etc? ❓ How often do you look at your ECIST datasets, aka SAPIT? ❓ How often do you look at the UEC Tableaus: ECDS, national A&E/ SDEC/ Ambulance? A key request I get is to walk Acute Trusts through their UEC datasets. 🚫 Although not universal, it is common to find operational & exec leads not knowing about, or making use of these datasets. ☝ It's very common to have presented data challenged - their submitted data. It's not possible to understand a complex system like UEC, without understanding how it inter-connects, responds & performs. 📊 This is where data come in. 👎 Without data, your ability to make good decisions is severely limited. The worst of it is you won't even know it.
