#corruption is well understood to be negative for societies, but someone, somewhere is benefiting. Be it political elite, civil servants, police officers, corporate leaders or transnational organized criminals, someone is benefitting. Who wins, loses, their role and motivations (and in #conflict contexts, their place in the conflict) all need to be understood if we wish to shift corruption dynamics. For years we've been using a variety of #stakeholder analysis tools to understand actors. Our latest Working Paper compiles our experience to date and offers it to our community for use, improvement and ideally feedback. #CJLprogram

Transnational corruption drains resources needed for poverty alleviation and essential services. As highlighted by USAID Administrator Samantha Power, it reverses development, diverting funds from public infrastructure to private coffers. The Countering Transnational Corruption Grand Challenge mobilizes innovation and collaboration to disrupt these illicit activities. By leveraging diverse expertise and forming global coalitions, the aim is to safeguard resources for public good. This endeavor enhances transparency and accountability, fostering integrity across sectors, countering corruption and promoting sustainable development. #GrandChallenge #AntiCorruption #Transparency #SustainableDevelopment https://lnkd.in/eY_6AzvS
