**Manager Lesson #2:** 1. **Football Coaching:** Would you rather have a coach who is lenient with no wins or one who challenges you to maximize your chances of success? 2. **Fitness Training:** Do you prefer a trainer who goes easy on you with no results or one who pushes you to meet your fitness goals? 3. **Management and Mentorship:** Do you want a manager who keeps things easy but stagnant, or a mentor who guides you to achieve greater heights? If you aim to reach great heights, choose a manager who holds high expectations to help you achieve your dreams.

Why do gym owners often brag on their trainers, but you rarely hear them rave about their managers? Is it because trainers are easier to make "great", compared to the more complex roles of a manger? Is it because the owner themself lacks managerial skill sets, but excels at coaching, thus making it easier to duplicate great coaches?

Coaching is more than sets and reps 🧠💬 As a Strength & Conditioning coach, talking to the athlete is just as important as the training itself. 🔍 Understand their mindset – What are they working toward? How are they feeling today? ⚡ Gauge readiness – Are they recovered or pushing through fatigue? 🔄 Adjust their plan – No one thrives on a one-size-fits-all approach. Communication builds trust – And trust unlocks progress. 🧠💬 Remember, the best results happen when we coach the person, not just the athlete!" What’s one thing you wish your coach asked you before training? #StrengthAndConditioning #SnC #Communication #Mindset #Trust #Athlete

It’s great to be able to teach and give back through coaching and sharing my knowledge in high performance. My goal here is to empower athletes to push beyond their limits while emphasising the importance of establishing a strong foundation in speed and endurance earlier in their journey. Here are key principles that worked for me: - Balanced training: A mixture of strength, endurance, and speed, alongside dedicated rest days for optimal recovery. - Intent: Being intention about learning, asking questions where necessary and approaching each drill and workout with purpose. - Personalised training Plans: Awareness of your own path, strength and weaknesses, and tailor your program accordingly It’s often the small, simple things we overlook the most. Building a strong foundation earlier on is key for achieving high results #Highperformance #Coaching #Intent #Athetedevelopment #Balance #Learning
