France Car Avenue buys the other part of the Savy group. After selling several BMW dealerships to the Hess family in October 2023, the Dijon Savy group is selling off its remaining businesses. According to the Competition Authority, Car Avenue will take over the German brand's sites in Marne (51), Haute-Marne (52), Aube (10) and Côte-d'Or (21). This acquisition concerns the sites of Dijon and Beaune (21), Chalon-sur Saône (71), Chaumont (52) and Troyes (10), the latter concession having been purchased in 2022 from Christophe Lombard. France Hess Automobile expands with Opel and Toyota by purchasing the last sites of the Louis group. The Hess group announced on January 8, 2024 the purchase of the Opel and Toyota dealerships in Verdun, Bar-le-Duc and Saint-Dizier. These were operated by the Louis family, who withdrew from automobile distribution forty-five years after the creation of the company. By Benoît Landré Already very active in 2023, the Hess Automobile group is attacking the 2024 financial year with a first external growth operation. The family operator has indeed announced the takeover of the Opel and Toyota dealerships located in Verdun, Bar-le-Duc (Meuse) and Saint-Dizier (Haute-Marne). These businesses, which employ 34 employees, represent an annual turnover of 18 million euros. This acquisition allows the Dubreuil group to strengthen its network in Indre. It is in fact already present there with the Citroën brand which it took over in November 2022 from the Michel group. Ranked 15th in the Journal de l'Automobile's ranking of the top hundred distributors, in 2022 it sold 21,155 VNs including 13,150 Peugeots. It achieved a turnover in the automotive business of 1 billion euros. Italy New acquisition for the Bossoni Group! Turnover flies towards one billion. Milan, January 11, 2024 Another important coup for the Brescia brand. Bossoni Group increasingly without borders: acquired Baiauto of Reggio Emilia, a historic dealership company owned by the Buratti family. The Giornale di Brescia reports this: with this new acquisition the Brescia group will reach (in 2024) a billion euro turnover, almost doubled in the last 6 years, and will bring its operational "fleet" to 45 points of sale on the entire national territory (to date there are 40, the last ones opened in 2023: among these also the opening of the first Skoda showroom in Brescia). The Bossoni Group The Baiauto brand has been operating in Emilia Romagna (and beyond) since 1961: it has around 110 employees and a turnover of over 88 million euros. They will all become part of the large Bossoni family, a Brescia brand founded in 1987 and which today in its portfolio, in addition to the Bossoni brands, also includes Mandolini Auto and Agricar. In alphabetical order, all the brands of the group: Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Audi, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, Kia, Lancia, MG, Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-Benz Vans, Peugeot, Skoda, Volkswagen, Volvo.
